Elaine Coffin

Here's a bit of what I've been doing since 1960:

I graduated from FSU in 1964, majoring in Spanish & English, so with no marketable skills, I ended up as a secretary for umpteen years! Had two wonderful children with my first husband (Dan, now 42 and Wendy, now 41), and now have three perfectly marvelous granddaughters.

I'm now happily married to Mario Vecchi, but decided to stick to the totally cool name of Coffin once again. Over the years I've been fortunate enough to have done a lot of traveling (Australia, England, France, Hawaii, and several national parks in the U.S.), but have also been actively involved in little theater. As a relative newcomer to SHS at age 15, I was too shy to get involved in SHS theater, but have been active in community theater for about 35 years, and have been honored with five acting awards over the years.

I'm also long-time volunteer at the SPCA, specializing in cat adoptions, love reading and going to movies. Serious addictions include crossword puzzles and Hagen Dazs Chocolate Chocolate Chip ice cream. My brown hair miraculously turned blonde in my 30's and is now 90% overtaken by white -- let it be.

See you in October!
